Voices

Continuing from this by Dhwani

Sometimes the link between two artworks may not be obvious.
For me, it starts as a thought- here what I wanted was the concept of mind against myself.

Sometimes there are a thousand emotions & thoughts rioting in the most frenzied manner in my head, memories and possibilities... yet I can't find a way to articulate them. Maybe its better not to even try. Perhaps, the best course is to stay silent.

Inarticulate

When you're on an emotional rollercoaster and thinking everything, but want to think of nothing.

End of the World, Again...

My turn in the doodle-collab-with-Dhwani again...
Actually been my turn for past one month but somehow I never found the time/inclination/inspiration/etc etc to actually do something. Finally got tired of not doing anything and just did something!

Doodle collab with Dhwani

So, how do you inspire yourself to draw, and keep drawing, when you draw a blank in your head.
Taking a leaf from yet another inspiring blog, and a bit of Exquisite Corpse we (my friend Dhwani and myself) decided, it was finally time to do something.

Thus began a nameless, undefined adventure.
Its like, tic tac toe, but with drawing. She draws, I draw, she draws again, I draw some more, but we share constantly, and let it all influence each other, let our art slip in glimpses of other’s work, but seen from a fresh pair of eyes, constantly make something new from something old.

This is the outcome of that exercise. It is art in its ugly duckling stages.
And we want to just let it happen, the only restriction being, that we take a 'something' from the previous artwork, and go on from there.

Enough rambling, some artwork plisss...

  • So, Start with Dhwani in Black/White here,

Fashion fail!

I haven't been drawing at all lately.. First I fell sick, and then had to work like crazy to catch up on the work that had piled up in the weeks. Here is a break doodle, that didnt quite work out to be as cute as I thought it would.
Found a blog recently, called Cup-o-doodle, which puts up doodles which you can download and interpret into drawings. I haven't got the guts yet to ask for an invite.. (let my art get a leetle better!)
Here the first attempt!

Dance!

I always have artwork as my desktop wallpaper, but never my own, because it's usually someone else's work which I like/ find inspiring/ admire etc.
So I decided I should have atleast one image which I can put as my wallpaper, which has been drawn by me!
Well it isn't as awesome as some of the other wallpapers I've had before, but here's my wallpaper!
